Well, Charlie has been flirting with walking now for well over a month. It seems he has finally decided it's time to stop messing around. He walked back and forth between Carrie and I for a while before we got the video camera out and then he did it again for us (how accommodating) before deciding he was a bit tired. Of course as soon as I left the room, he set off again just toward whatever, decided he was out over his head, and turned around and went back to Carrie. Here's the video footage for your viewing pleasure. As you can see, he walks a bit like Anakin Skywalker busting out of the operating table restraints and taking his first Frankenstein's monsterlike steps as Darth Vader.
And so it begins....
So, Santa was not a big hit again this year as you can see in the first shot. We ended up having Carrie in the picture and Santa hanging out behind the chair and that worked all right.
